Lasting GIL plastic window
Has a significantly greater lifespan than similar products on the market. By using innovative techniques, we transformed the windows offered by the Hungarian market and increased their original quality to a great extent. This is true for both the structure and the materials we use at GIL; therefore you can count on our windows to last for over 30-40 years.
Plastic window with middle frame stripping
Contrary to the traditional windows that have edge frame insulation, GIL windows utilize a grade ’A’ middle frame stripping technique. Due to the larger case and the wing insulation, our windows possess better insulation qualities, and they are more resistant to rusting as well. Instead of co-extruded stripping, which is easily damaged by UV rays, we use rubber to increase the resistance against the harmful rays of the sun.
We put great emphasis on the sturdiness of the window frame, as it is 5 times better than its traditional counterpart, making our windows undoubtedly long-lasting and enduring. A GIL window doesn’t deform over the years, it remains the same quality and shape for decades. In addition to retaining its aesthetic looks in the long run, added metal details and safety hinges serve as an efficient method against burglary.
What kind of GIL windows to choose from?
GIL 7000 Thermo
The GIL 7000 Thermo windows are manufactured according to Europe’s best window profile system and exceed the expected mechanical quality. They can be installed within any passive house and are equipped with foam stripping for unmatched insulation qualities. When it comes to price including the installment as well, these GIL windows are our most favorable option, however, they obtain the same exceptional quality as the rest of our products.
Within this model, we used 3 layers of glass, all within 14-18 mm apart, increasing the already exceptional insulation qualities of the windows. You can choose between a one or two-wing model, but the options are endless: fixed, casement, tilt, and tilt and turn types are available. The authenticity of a GIL plastic window design is guaranteed by the powder-coated aluminum surface which we offer a 30-year warranty on.
